At 20:14 on 29th October, the OMEGA countdown clocks, located in nine Russian cities, struck 100 days to go until the XXII Olympic Winter Games in Sochi. It started the final countdown to Russia’s first Olympic Winter Games.

Passing of Hans Stattmann Passing of Hans Stattmann

Hans Johann Stattmann (AUT) passed away at the age of 76 on 14th October 2013. Formerly an active athlete, the citizen of Villach was a former member and most recently honorary member of the FIS Nordic Combined Committee, a member of the Austrian Ski Association as well as a member of the Regional Ski Association of Kärnten.
