It may be pouring outside tonight but the cross country ski racing season has started and 3 Scandinavians have just roller skied 1000km through Thailand! So closer to home here's a reminder about our activities:
Next Sunday 25/11 - roller ski course and practice
Don't miss these opportunities to tune up your skills on roller skis from 1000-1530 at
the Club's last

Saturday 8/12 - annual mince pie and roller ski tour of Richmond Park
Beginning at 1630, this unique event combines fun and training as you roller ski 12km around Richmond Park with a stop for mince pies and mulled wine. You might be lucky enough to see the deer and hear the owls in calm of the Park too - lights and a helmet are essential. NB T
his tour is not recommended for beginner roller skiers but Club members are welcome to cycle along. See the details on the Club website.

Congratulations to XC UK
Specialist holiday company, XC UK, run by LRNSC member Stuart Montgomery has been awarded the Robert Hovey trophy in recognition of the organisation's substantial contribution to the sport of cross country
skiing in England. Glennis Dore, Chair of Snowsport England's Nordic Key Committee presented the award to Stuart after our 4 hour event earlier this autumn.
