Wanted - cross country skiers to guide visually impaired skiers
For the last few years Vitalise (a charity that organises support for disabled people and their carers) has arranged cross country skiing holidays for visually impaired skiers. Sadly they have now discontinued this service.
Pam Curwen, who has helped lead several of these holidays, is offering to lead a holiday for the visually impaired in either Finland or Norway in late February or early March 2014 and guides are needed to make it possible for this holiday to take place. If you're interested you can find out more here
Hope to see you on Sunday!
