Dear Ski Friends and Family, with the turn of the calendar to October along with the conclusion of the Southern Hemisphere season and the autumn chill in the air, it can only mean that it is time for us to turn our attention to the slopes and the start of the FIS Nordic and Alpine Ski World Cup seasons.

Nearly 750 delegates from the extended FIS Family are currently in Zurich (SUI) for more than 50 meetings, workshops and seminars as part of the annual FIS Technical Committee Meetings at the Hilton Airport Hotel.

The meeting provided 137 attendees from 51 countries with best practices for their work with parents.

Last week, the World Anti-Doping Agency published the 2018 List of Prohibited Substances and Methods. The List comes into force on 1st January 2018.
