23/9 Roller ski course, race and practice at Hillingdon Cycle Circuit
A quick reminder about next Sunday's roller ski events - you can still book our course and enter the skialthlon race online, and it really does help the organisers if you book in advance. You can also use the circuit for roller ski practice for a small contribution towards the track hire.
See the photos from the Club walk in the Chilterns on 15/9
Looks like a lovely day out, hope the dogs enjoyed it too! You can see the photos in the latest gallery.

Sad news ...
It's been a very sad year with the deaths of Club members Pete Linsky, Charles Hicks and Robert Jones, and now the Club has been notified of the sudden death of Alan Shepard whom many members knew. Alan was a member of Yorkshire Dales Cross Country Ski Club and a stalwart of the wider cross country skiing community.
He took part in many of the Club's roller ski races and was a regular at World Loppet events. He also developed his own special Shepard roller skis and mobile waxing horse. Kind and generous with a wicked sense of humour, he will be sadly missed by many people.
His funeral will take place on 21st September in Dunkinfield. Donations in Alan's memory may be sent to: Peak District Mountain Rescue
c/o Elizabeth Way Family Funeral Services, 18 Stamford Street, Mossley, OL5 0HR (01457 839247).
